I found the room very clean. It overlooked the garden! the bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. the pub attached had a nice restaurant. an extensive gin menu.

The hotel offers easy parking. Made my arrival and departure smooth. a post office shop is right next-door. This provides added convenience. i found the nearby villages fine, especially norton st phillips.

the location was quite convenient with a bus stop directly across the road.
I was rather disappointed by the breakfast. it was only a continental option available at an additional cost, i found this quite steep. the staff shortage was also noticeable. It felt as if there were too few staff to adequately handle the guests, even though the pub wasn't particularly busy.

The hotel's style had some appeal.
I was disappointed by an incident. Staff accused me of damaging the carpet and curtains with stains. I cleaned a small coke spill, but they still claimed the room was out of service ALL day, I don't understand that.
